What the site records, why, for how long, and how to get it back or delete it.
Data controller
The data controller is m365expertise. Contact: contact@darkly.fr
Data recorded
- Account: email address, display name, password (stored only as a cryptographic hash), language.
- Food preferences you choose to give: allergens, diets, cooking habits. They are used to warn you and personalise suggestions; they are never public.
- Content you publish: recipes, photos, reviews, votes, public collections.
- Personal tools: favorites, private collections, pantry, shopping lists, meal plans.
- Usage statistics: recipes viewed, cooked or shared, for counters and suggestions.
- Security: IP address attached to login and reset tokens, and temporary anti-abuse counters.
No data is sold or passed on to advertisers. The site uses no advertising tracker and no third-party analytics.
Cookies
The site only uses cookies strictly necessary for it to work; they therefore do not require consent.
- mijote_session: browsing session and form protection, deleted when the browser closes.
- lang: chosen language, 12 months.
- mijote_remember: only if you tick “Stay logged in”, 30 days.
- The light or dark theme is remembered in your browser's local storage and never sent to the server.
Retention periods
Account data is kept for as long as the account exists. Usage statistics are deleted after 24 months, the AI feature log after 12 months, expired login tokens after 7 days.
Your rights
At any time you can view, correct and download your data and delete your account from the page My account. For any other request (objection, restriction, complaint), write to contact@darkly.fr
